Bible School Ministry
Bible classes are an integral part of the Laramie Church of Christ. There are seven departments in our Bible School program: Cradle Roll, 2’s-5’s, 1st-3rd, 4th-6th, Teens, College, and Adult. Each department is overseen by a coordinator and is staffed by a team of teachers who rotate their teaching assignments. Our Education Director is the liaison between the teaching teams and the elders of the church, who oversee the ministry. Our teachers are very good … and very dedicated. Our goals are for Bible knowledge and for growth into the image of Christ.
Youth Ministry
Our teens have their own Bible class on Sunday morning and on Wednesday night. Their parents, and others interested in youth ministry, chaperone many other activities throughout the year, including: lock-ins, service projects, trips to youth rallies, trips to theme parks, devotionals, game nights, movie nights, and class parties.
Wyoming Bible Camp
Wyoming Bible Camp is a highlight for our youth each summer. Members of our congregation are on the board, direct, cook, teach, and council at camp. The last week of July and the first week of August are the two camp sessions we attend.
College Ministry
The Christian Student Center is located at 1314 Ivinson, just across the street from the campus of the University of Wyoming. Our campus evangelist, Brian Lombardi, is on duty every day to council students, to teach both private and group Bible studies, and to mentor our campus interns. Students take advantage of the computer lab, the kitchen, the fireplace room, the library, the coffee shop, and the wholesome environment every day. Tuesday Night Bible Study and Friday Night Live are featured activities each week. Many Christian marriages and aspiring church leaders have had their beginnings here.
